YOU ARE LOSING SLEEP FROM ANXIOUS OVERTHINKING?
We all need quality sleep to feel refreshed each day. Episodes of overthinking cause you to ruminate on past or future conversations, we can distract ourselves in the day time but at night we are completely alone with our thoughts making it harder to ignore and get quality sleep.
YOU ALWAYS GET TRIGGERED BY THE SAME THINGS
We all get angry sometimes but do you seem to get triggered by the same things over and over? If so you could well have an emotional wound that is crying out to be healed.
YOU TELL YOURSELF THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE HAD WORSE LIFES/UPBRINGINGS?
When we say that others have had it worse than me, we stop ourselves from ever looking at our emotional wounds and past traumas. Pretty much everyone has moments and times that are not great and you will be surprised at which events may have caused wounds and at how healing some of those early traumas can make a huge difference in your life.
YOU HAVE THESE COPING MECHANISMS?
People pleasing, zoning out, mild ADHD or addictions? I believe, through my own experiences that these can be coping mechanisms born out of not being able to escape stressful situations in childhood. Please note: if you are feeling like your traumas are deep, complex or you have moved into long term depression then my holistic method may not be the best option for you. There are many types of therapy and therapists out there so I would always suggest doing your research to find the right fit for you and to consult your doctor or helplines if necessary.
